format change

You asked- we answered. Women's Soccer Weekly was scheduled to shut down this past weekend but thanks to BarrelofBooksandGames.com and fan support- we are going to keep producing content. Instead of our weekly format, Women's Soccer Weekly will now move to a monthly edition. Beginning ahead of the Tournament of Nations, Women's Soccer Weekly will provide one giant monthly publication featuring updates from the U.S. WNT and each NWSL team. Editor Michelle Stile will keep writing a monthly profile, while other contributors will step up their content roles. Here is where you come in:

Every month Barrel of Books and Games will highlight one WoSo item of the month. Get this.. 100% of the profits from each book sold will go toward the cost of running www.wosoweekly.com That will allow us to produce a monthly issue filled with interviews, stats, pictures and other articles that you all know and love.

The first item is a great book is  How to Watch Soccer by Ruud Gullit . Only $17 so buy your copy now so we can keep the lights on! From the back cover:

"Most spectators simply watch the ball, but in How to Watch Soccer, Gullit explains how to watch the whole game. He shows how every part of a match, from formations to corner kicks, all the way down to what the players do to influence the referees, is important." - Penguin Books
